Is this worth anything to a scrap yard? Toss it in a dumpster? I don’t know what to do with it since I won’t be re-using it on the car.

Really hard to reuse that sort of thing. Worst case scenario you can bring to a place that pays for scrap metal by weight... maybe you can find someone on CL who wants it, if not the whole thing at least the mufflers. Those are solid mufflers, well built and probably last a good while longer. But the mufflers are really the only thing of value.

Easy, stick a $100 bluetooth speaker in it, say it’s from a Porsche and charge $3000 for it!

Those look like they still have plenty of life left in them. The mufflers themselves should fit a wider variety of vehicles than they would with the pipes still attached. If you cut the pipes off by making very shallow cuts on the muffler side of the pipe welds, you should be able to slide all of the piping out so that the muffler is ready for installation . Look up your car’s muffler application list, or measure the dimensions before posting on Craigslist, it will save buyers a lot of guess work .

although not for everyone, i highly recomend the flowmaster 120, and 180 series mufflers.......... some assembly required..........
i had picked up a few cast off mufflers from some friends all 60 series, they had the 2 1/2 inlet/ outlet, and i am kind of stuck on the 3 inch inlets. SO i franken engineered some extended mufflers. i cut off one of the ends off the only muffler i had that had a 3inch in/out. i put it on the other end of a 2 1/2 case, and then i cut off half the ends where the outlets were, and put the old inlets on there, so now it has 2 - 2 1 /2 outlets on both frankened mufflers. and then i started sticking ends to ends ........ they got a real deep bass echo sound to them, and they resonate like crazy. with the dual 2 1/2 outlets if flows and sounds like there isnt much there.........

i have always liked the higher number series mufflers, they have a nice deep rumbly sound to them, especially after they get some time on them and get some soot in them. totally changes the sound, gets rid of that tinny sound .........
